The Artist
Zach Raley is an eighteen-year-old contemporary fine artist whose formidable vision has quickly broken into the upper echelons of the art world. Based in Needham, MA, Raley is a regular exhibitor in Newport, RI, with his work featured in Art New England and permanently installed in collections across the nation. Born from a culmination of personal memories and sensory experiences, Raley’s work utilizes a signature, self-developed epoxy resin technique combined with classical oils. The resulting larger-than-life pieces act as structural mirrors to the complexity of human emotion. Over the next twelve months, Raley will embark on an ambitious international journey across North America, Africa, and Europe. This global immersion will serve as an active residency where he will begin his next body of work directly on location, capturing the atmospheric essence of each continent before completing them in his home studio.
